What it is: A trunkhustle is anything that can be sold from the trunk of a car. On a larger conceptual level it is representative of the entrepreneurs worldwide that take what they have to work with and get out there and make it happen. I’ve seen trunkhustlers sell ties, cologne/perfume, clothes, ice cream, and music to name a few, right out of the trunk. So in summary that’s how the name came to be and if you become a member of this site….you too can get your TrunkHustle on.
Who it’s for: Trunkhustle was originally created for unsigned artists to be able sell their music by the song or full cd….trunkhustle is a term that came from the street…but as I began to see street level entrepreneurs of all “genres” it became apparent that the phenom was across the board. Most of us have a day job and a dream….TrunkHustle (now digital) will hopefully provide a new avenue for you entreprenuerial types to make some extra dough.
Why it’s better: We’re not some conglomerate trying to own everything…we do music…we trunkhustle for real…we have jobs...in other words this was set up for us by us (no pun intended) …so it was set up with intentions of taking what you have and being able to work with it. Record it and sell it….period! There may be cheaper sites but remember cheap things are not good and good things are not cheap!
How to trunkhustle: To trunkhustle you have to be active…product doesn’t just fly out of the trunk. You have to be mobile and know your audience, and finally your audience has to know that you have product and where to get it. When you create something you have to get behind it 100%.......promote it….sell it….and let people know there’s more to come........@ trunkhustle.com!
Trunkhustle to Boardroom: There are a million people out there doing the exact same thing you’re doing….what separates you from the pack? How do some make it and others don’t? Why aren’t you moving more units? Why are there so many “starving artists”?
